Las Vegas Shakedown plot
"GAMBLER...Lady Luck played a dirty trick on him...when he pressed her too hard!"
Joe Barnes honestly tries to operate a gambling palace in Las Vegas, but runs into two problems. One problem is the gangster Sirago who wants to share in a large part of the proceeds and the other problem is the beautiful teacher Julia Rae. She is writing a thesis on gambling. Meanwhile, banker Raff tries to have a little fun by gambling, despite objections from his wife. Barnes also has to deal with a couple of attractive divorcees, who see something in a future together with Barnes.
