La Camarista plot
Eve (Gabriela Cartol) works long hours as a chambermaid at a luxury hotel in Mexico City. The young single mother travels far to get to work and has aspirations for the future. She hopes her dedication will earn her a coveted spot as a cleaning lady on an executive floor. She enrolls in the hotel's adult education program in her quest for a better life, but soon discovers that it isn't necessarily the most hard-working who gets noticed for promotion.
