Jestes Bogiem plot
Based on true facts, this film chronicles the late 1990s when a revolution took place in the Polish music scene. Psychedelic rap quickly stormed the charts, which had been dominated by American hits and "disco polo" since the fall of the Soviet Union. Two groups in particular became iconic: Caliber 44 and Paktofonika. What both groups had in common was the association with the charismatic rapper Magik. Magik's lyrics dealt with bad drug trips, researching fear of HIV and psychological problems among his contemporaries who had to survive in a new social reality. The uncompromising Magik frankly expressed the internal confusion that existed among this first generation of young people who grew up in a non-Communist Poland and thus gave them a voice.
