Il Vendicatore plot

Vladja Dubrowsky, an officer of the Imperial Russian Guard, leaves the service to avenge his father. The latter died after being stripped of his possessions by the evil Baron Petrovich. To disappear from the public eye, Vlajda feigns his own death in a fire. He then takes charge of a group of farmers who were also wronged by Petrovich and starts a guerrilla war against the Baron. When he learns that the Baron is expecting a tutor, Vlajda takes the teacher's place and is accepted as such by the unsuspecting Baron. In the enemy's stronghold, Vladja tries to get hold of the documents that are incriminating evidence. But then Vlajda falls in love with the daughter of the Baron...
