Gönül Yarasi plot

Nazim (Sener Sen) is an old teacher at a poor Anatolian village school. After his retirement he decides to return to Istanbul where he takes a job as a taxi driver. He meets Dunya (Meltem Cumbul), a nightclub singer on the run from her abusive husband Halil (Timucin Esen). Halil is still madly in love with Dunya and is determined to kidnap his 7-year-old daughter to take care of her. One night he visits her nightclub where a violent encounter between the two ex-lovers ensues. Nazim manages to save the injured Dunya. Desperate, Dunya decides to move in with Nazim with her daughter. Halil soon finds out about the trio, which leads to the start of a very dangerous love triangle.
