Glory Alley plot
"Street of tough guys, hot tunes, temptation!"
Socks Barbarrosa is a New Orleans boxer who, without explanation, leaves the ring just before the championship and vows never to return. His girlfriend Angela stays with him, but her blind father thinks he's a coward and forbids the two from getting married. Socks, who then enlists in the army and leaves for Korea, returns as a war hero. Everyone admires him again, except Angela's father, who can't let the past rest.
