Foster Boy plot
Michael Trainer is a lawyer in the middle of a lawsuit in which a Foster health agency puts a known sex offender in the same foster home as his young client Jamal, with catastrophic results. Michael, who is a successful lawyer with a long career protecting corporate clients, is blinded to recognizing the real damage they can do. He wants nothing to do with Jamal's case until a judge forces him to accept it.

Very good courtroom drama, based on true events. I don't understand the drama/mystery genre mentioned. Drama/crime fits better. Beyond that; well played, good but sadly dramatic story, great setting. I didn't find the dialogues in court very strong. As far as the entire film is concerned, it took a little too long for the speed to pick up, while things were rushed too quickly in the last fifteen minutes. Also, the ending could have been a little more elaborated. Apart from that, this is recommended if you are a fan of the combination of true events / lawsuits.

Strong courtroom drama. Unfortunately, the story is based on true events. The elaboration is solid and the film resembles a television film, but a very good one. The structure is good and the film captivates from the beginning to the end. In addition to the spectacle in the courtroom, there is also room for some tension. The acting is fine with a surprisingly strong role for Gossett jr, who really sets the tone in the beginning. Fine movie. 4.0
