Flash of Genius plot
"Corporations have time, money, and power on their side. All Bob Kearns had was the truth."
True story about professor and part-time inventor Bob Kearns and his years-long battle against the auto industry. In the 1960s, the Kearns were a happy family of six in Detroit. But all that changed with a great invention from Kearns, which would eventually be found in every car in the world. But Kearns was betrayed by the manufacturers and did not receive a cent for his work. Bob becomes obsessed with the injustice done to him and his family.

Interesting fight of loner against the mighty Ford concern.
Cinematic coloring a bit too neatly within the lines and not really an in-depth character study, but it looks quite pleasant.

Excellent and true film about the patent on the interval function of windshield wipers (even there is a good film to be made about that). The film doesn't exactly follow an original path, but it is certainly well put together. A beautiful, inspiring and emotional story about a long struggle of one man who tries to prove himself right. And that role is convincingly played by Greg Kinear, who plays his fortitude (borders on stubbornness) well.

Beautiful and fascinating film adaptation of this true event, with extremely convincing interpretations, in particular by Greg Kinnear. Lauren Graham and good old Alan Alda could also appeal, the latter in a rather small but beautifully performed role.
I haven't seen a film by Marc Abraham yet, but he has done a great job here.
A minus? Perhaps the original process would have been more technical than it is now, rather loose and occasionally funny, but no objection.
