Exclusive Story plot

Dick Barton is a lawyer for a major newspaper. This newspaper is campaigning against gangster boss Ace Acello. The newspaper cannot prove a single criminal act, thanks to Acello's clever legal maneuvers. Dick takes matters into his own hands and finds evidence to convict Acello. Acello retaliates by kidnapping Dick's girlfriend Ann Devlin.
