Echoes of a Summer plot

"A film that will make you sigh...cry...and still feel good all over."

Eleven-year-old Deirdre suffers from heart problems for which no solution can be found. For two years, her parents consulted various heart specialists, but without success. They decide to take Deirdre to Mahone Bay, Canada, to enjoy her last vacation there. 9-year-old Phillip, who lives in the cottage next door to them, is the only one who can bring a little cheer.
