Down to the Bone plot
"Old habits die hard."
After a series of near-fatal experiences, Irene, a New York drug addict and married mother of two sons, decides to kick the habit. Determined, she checks herself into a drug rehabilitation center. There she meets the sympathetic nurse Bob. Since he has overcome his drug addiction, they have a lot in common and become good friends. Gradually, Irene falls in love with him and the two embark on an affair. Irene only deals with Bob, not realizing that he is wrestling with his own demons. If she finds out, she will have to pay a heavy price for it.
