""In Love With Her Was Like Being in an Earthquake!""
Respected Judge Cass (Spencer Tracy) marries frisky working-class girl Jinny (Lana Turner). She becomes pregnant but the baby dies. Then Jinny wants to go to New York to live there, she wants to leave the 'village' Grand Republic. Cass also thinks it is good because he can immediately start working as a lawyer there because twenty years ago he was offered an offer from New York to work as a lawyer. Once in New York, Cass goes straight to the law firm and Jinny goes shopping with Cass' friend Bradd (Zachary Scott). When Cass returns from the law firm, Cass tells Jinny that he has not accepted the offer and wants to return to Grand Republic, but Jinny refuses. Maybe she's too in love with Bradd to return to Grand Republic...
