Beowulf & Grendel plot
"The Hero. The Monster. The Myth."
Out of loyalty to the Danish King Hrothgar, the Norse Beowulf leads a group of warriors across the sea to free a village from a wandering monster. However, this monstrosity, Grendel, is not a monster with mythical powers, but one of flesh and blood driven by vengeance. Feeling increasingly uneasy about the myth surrounding his person, Beowulf begins to question his mission when he discovers that the king is largely responsible for Grendel's devastating actions. The battle between Good and Evil is therefore not as simple as initially thought.
