Bellas Mariposas plot
A poor neighborhood in Cagliari. At three o'clock on the morning of August 3, 11-year-old Cate is awakened by the screams of her eccentric neighbor. Cate wants to run away from the apartment, away from her troubled siblings and her tyrannical father. She doesn't want to end up like her sister Mandarina, who got pregnant when she was thirteen. Or like Samantha, the neighborhood sex bomb. But today on August 3rd, Gigi's life is in danger. Someone wants to kill him.
