Good film in which a girl falls in love for the first time, but at a time when status and origin make their relationship impossible. A fairly standard, but decent and nicely dressed costume drama. Not so much a biopic, but more of a love story starring Jane Austen. A bit long-winded here and there, but the cast does a good job and therefore only 3.5 stars.
