Attraction plot

"Obsession burns beyond control."

Their love has been over for a while but Matthew still has strong feelings for Liz. As Matthew's absurd behavior begins to resemble stalking, Liz confides in Garret, but it soon becomes apparent that protecting Liz isn't the only thing Garret is interested in. When Matthew falls in love with Corey, a good friend of Liz, his interest in Liz begins to wane, but instead of being relieved, Liz is deeply disappointed and jealous. Is an obsession really unhealthy if the desired object actually enjoys this obsession?
