In 1981, Romy Schneider, who is on a retreat to escape the daily hustle and bustle, gives her last interview in France in the presence of a journalist and photographer, Michael Jürgs and Robert Lebeck respectively. The sensitive woman and actress tries to get rid of her personal demons. Meanwhile, a cat-and-mouse game ensues between Schneider and the ambitious Jürgs. It is three days filled with lust for love, ambition and vitality.
