Santoalla plot

In this 'true crime', the makers investigate the mysterious disappearance of a Dutchman in Santa Eulalia in Galicia, northwestern Spain. The hamlet, popularly called Santoalla, has only a handful of inhabitants when Martin Verfondern and Margo Pool move into one of the abandoned ruins to live a simple life of the country: a long-cherished dream. But the arrival of the two idiosyncratic foreigners disrupts the traditional life of the only remaining family, whose plans for an agriturismo do not go down well.
