A documentary about Hungarian cinematographers and lifelong friends Laszlo Kovacs and Vilmos Zsigmond. Both fleeing communism, they arrive in Hollywood without speaking a word of English, only to reform cinema a decade later with radically innovative films such as Easy Rider (1969) and McCabe & Mrs. Miller (1971). We get a look at their career through various clips and testimonials from themselves and others.
