The relationships with the one you love the most are often the most complicated. Daughter Hania and mother Ewa experience this during their sessions with a psychotherapist, which have been recorded very closely and with the utmost respect by director Pawel Lozinski. The empathetic therapist gently but purposefully peels off the hard layers with which mother and daughter protect themselves. Thus, the personal tragedies that are the root of their inability to communicate properly and the source of their elusive yearning for love and appreciation slowly begin to emerge.
