L'Enfer d'Henri-Georges Clouzot plot
"A master filmmaker's unfinished dream"
In 1964, the renowned filmmaker Henri-Georges Clouzot started a new project starring Romy Schneider and Serge Reggiani, called L'Enfer. A film that was heralded as an 'enigmatic and cinematographic event' and which had already been labeled a masterpiece in advance. But after three months of running, the project was cut short and the shot footage disappeared. Now after half a decade they have been found. Bromberg and Medrea examine the origin of the images and the events on the set and give their own interpretation of how the film would more or less work on the basis of the images.
