For as long as Arami can remember, her mother has suffered from epilepsy and Parkinson's disease. From an early age, Arami had to take care of her, but about ten years ago she could finally find her personal happiness in Switzerland. Her mother still lives in Asunción. She is cared for daily by the uneducated nurse Julia. But the conditions get worse and Arami is forced to return to Paraguay. 'El Tiempo Nublado' is a very personal documentary about a universal theme: what do we do with our parents when they are old and sick? Should we give up our personal happiness? And that in the age of globalization.
