Eat Your Enemy plot
Eat your Enemy is a documentary about five men engaged in martial arts. And about aggression. And about spirituality. About winning and losing, about suffering and vanity. About East and West, muscle and mind. About master-apprentice. A film full of paradoxes. When we think of martial arts we hear, so to speak, the dull thumps on tattooed torsos, men who stare at each other through closed eyes while the blood flows from the nose, in short: secretly quite exciting but also objectionable. But martial arts is much more than the image we just described that we zap past on television.
