Running with the Devil plot
When a cocaine shipment is found to have been pre-cut, the despairing leader of the cartel sends his most trusted man on a perilous journey to control the supply chain. They track the origin of the cocaine in Colombia, where a hardworking farmer and his wife have to deliver the cocaine paste from the treacherous mountainous jungles of Colombia. Where in the chain is it going wrong?

Boring. There really isn't much more to say about it. Overall, a very mediocre action movie with a Nicholas Cage in the lead role who seems to be getting more and more into the doldrums. He begins to suffer from the Steven Seagal syndrome (set head, uninspired roles). Fortunately, Laurence Fishburne still manages to do something fun with his pleasantly disturbed character.
What annoyed me the most is the abruptly ending shots. They were on display throughout the film and their usefulness eludes me completely. Scenes were completely cut off. In any case, it caused me to rate the film 0.5 stars lower. Also, the action (which this film should have) is scant and not well portrayed. Even that is missing in this messy and forgetful film.
