Al Howard may be a big star on Broadway, but he is no longer welcome by other producers. It seems that he just does the things he wants to do, even though it costs others money. When his sister, Molly, finds out he's running out of shows, she arranges a date for him with the very talented Dorothy. This, however, without much success. Al wants to open his own club on Broadway, so he borrows money from a mobster. This is not without problems...
