Fantômas contre Fantômas plot

After many failed attempts to catch the unscrupulous criminal and serial killer Fantômas, Inspector Juve falls victim to a smear campaign by the press that accuses him of being Fantômas himself. While Juve is under lock and key, journalist Fandor tries to clear his name by tracking down the real Fantômas. Meanwhile, American detective Tom Bob also conducts an investigation to find Fantômas. He visits Lady Beltham, Fantômas's former mistress. She immediately recognizes Tom Bob as Fantômas. He persuades her to hold a charity ball to raise money to bring Fantômas to justice. Fandor, dressed as the notorious criminal, decides to go to the prom.
