The true story of Michelle Knight, a 21-year-old single mother whose life was irrevocably changed by a chance encounter with an unsuspected criminal. This movie is the story of hopelessness and evil of the people without conscience. This drama based on actual events is the story that unreal takes place over more than ten years. The movie to me was a very convincing look of hell on earth and didn't even show the most gruesome details.

Decent film about the kidnapping of several young women by the neighbour. It remains hallucinatory that this can drag on for a total of 11 years without anyone noticing anything. Unfortunately, the film is a bit too unbalanced. Horrific enough, but I missed some balance and depth. The film touched me purely because of its theme and true events, but the characters could have been better developed, both during the captivity and afterwards.
The fear of the women was fairly well represented. You create a kind of paranoia that even turns into a Stockholm syndrome, especially with the woman who bore him a child. All pretty intense. Depressing, but despite the solid acting, the film is not convincing enough.

I watched the film for about 5 minutes and then thought: what kind of cheap-looking b-movie is this? Turned out to be a TV movie. Yes, that says something. Not that the film is completely rubbish, but this thing is not really great either. Visually boring and the film doesn't bring much new after a while. Well acted and the atmosphere is okay. 2.5*.
