Roberta Lee convinces her father to hire inmate Bill Dorgan as a gardener. However, Bill steals Roberta's jewels when she is on vacation on a farm. Later, Roberta meets Richard Van Stone and they fall in love. He presents her with a brooch, which he bought earlier from Bill.
