In the meantime, things are not going well at work as a therapist either.

Difficult film about a brooding couple with much of the same. Film is labeled as comedy, but there is little to laugh about despite the presence of Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

Disappoints a bit. The cast is not bad, but the story isn't really that interesting. It is about some insignificant, everyday (relationship) problems, sometimes recognizable but not really that interesting. A lot of talk about feelings with some white lies here and there and the effects of that, but it all remains a bit superficial. There are some funny scenes here and there, but unfortunately not enough.

Another nicely observed dramatic comedy from director Nicole Holofcener, who is slowly emerging as the female counterpart of Woody Allen. A bit bland and easy here and there, but the script contains enough funny dialogues and striking emotional scenes to be convincing. The excellent cast also helps, with Julia Louis-Dreyfus in particular in good form.
