Still the least from Dupieux so far.

Of course there is the absurd setting and humor again, the strange interactions between the even stranger characters (or just the normal ones, which makes them stranger).

Dupieux's beloved color palette once again does its job, and the tight beats accompany everything well.

The downside of this compared to his previous films is that it feels a bit contrived, and I also found it less funny.

Now be careful, this is all relative, I still had a pretty good time and as always Dupieux keeps your attention. There isn't a second where you think about going to get a beer or something. You can see this in one go.

Good film about a number of police officers who don't follow the rules very closely. Like Quentin Dupieux's other films, this one is also quirky, absurd and original. Everything is possible. But this one is nevertheless a lot more accessible compared to the other films I've seen by him (it also has a bit more story).

Nonsensical, but again wonderfully entertaining. I like Dupieux's idiosyncrasy. Holy houses are being knocked over and he goes one step further.

So here we have police officers who color far outside the lines. Not that they are in league with the mafia or anything, it doesn't become violent or criminal. But everything is viewed from those well-known rose-colored humorous glasses.

Corruption and inept cops rule in an overall absurd context. Beautiful ladies are intimidated in a stupid way, but it doesn't always work out the way they want. Totally politically incorrect humor, but great in this context. Nice!
