Uncle Buck plot
"He's crude. He's crass. He's family."
Uncle Buck (John Candy) is asked to be a nanny by his brother Bob (Garreth McBrown) because the father of Bob's wife Cindy (Elaine Bromka) has had a heart attack. At first, Buck and Tia (Jean-Louisa Kelly), the oldest of the three children, don't click at all. Only after some struggles does Tia begin to understand that everything Buck does is for her own good.

Nice family film from the 80s with a funny John Candy and very young Culkin. Innocent entertainment for the whole family. It's a bit too easy how Uncle Buck manages to solve the problems with the rebellious teenage daughter. Unfortunately, that's not how it goes in real life, but that's why you have these kind of feel-good movies.
