Phyllis is a rich and spoiled child woman. She is a regular at the expensive Rodeo Drive boutiques and goes to the hairdresser and manicurist every day. She and her husband Freddy have grown apart and a divorce is not far off. Wanting to prove to her husband that she can do more than shop and tour in her Rolls Royce, Phyllis decides to become a leader in the youth movement, where her daughter Hannah is a member. I have to say that as a kid (well, younger) I always really liked this movie. The story and acting is very exaggerated. Still, as a youngster I could fully empathize with the story and I found many parts really humorous.
As an adult I don't like it much anymore, but for children and young people this still seems like a nice film.

Predictably cliché movie. Terrible and very thin story. The so-called humor here is lousy. Only some, but also really some actors, did something nice to make it something I give a 1.0 for that. For the rest, this movie is something you can call shit.

Mediocre film about a mother who is going through a divorce and becomes the leader of a group of scouting girls. This comedy isn't really funny, but it's still entertaining (even if it could have been a bit shorter). Shelley Long does a nice job and the rest of the cast seems to be enjoying it too. Mainly because of the youth sentiment, just 3.0 stars.
