The Male Animal plot
"SHE turned a lamb into a lion!"
Tommy Turner is a cocky professor who plans to read to his students a controversial letter from Bartolomeo Vanzetti, written several days before the alleged anarchist was executed. This leads to a big riot at the university that puts Turner's job at risk. At the same time, Joe Ferguson, an old flame of Turner's wife's, arrives and, partly due to the state of affairs at the university, she appears not entirely insensitive to Ferguson's renewed advances. Turner must then both try to keep his job in college and win back his wife.
