The M Word plot

TV director Charlie Moon is sent to run a troubled local TV station and make it profitable again. He does this with great reluctance, because on his judgment it will depend how many jobs will be lost. Moxie Landon, a children's show host, unexpectedly develops into something of Joan of Arc when she takes charge of a group of rebellious women who are anxiously confronted by an uncertain future and a new boss.
