"Times change. Friendship doesn't."
Harper Stewart is a writer about to release his autobiographical work. He is then asked by his best friend Lance Sullivan to be a best man at his wedding, forcing him to postpone his book release. In the book, however, he reveals that he has had a secret relationship with the bride-to-be.

Rollercoaster of emotions, indeed.
Bit too much of a good thing for me. This and the necessary story coincidences made it very soapy.
That was the first part, but I like it better.

Best to chew initially. With funny use of words in various quarrels between various characters 
However, the film lasts much too long 
With ease a 1.5 hour film could be cut from the 2 hours.
Especially the "there must be 1 seriously ill" and the "reli-posture" 
filled my stoma bag prematurely 
Still 2 stars because it started so promising.

The story is new, but in terms of execution this sequel resembles its predecessor The Best Man (1999). The tragic turn in the second part of the film may be lifelike, but it actually doesn't fit the rest of the story at all. The 1999 prequel movie is more fun.
