Surprisingly fun comedy, which remains fun from start to finish.

Although I expected little beforehand, the film was not that bad at all. The story has a lot of momentum and Belushi is very funny at times. The situations he finds himself in are quite entertaining. It is, however, strange that everyone he meets has never seen his face, but that should not spoil the fun.

If you're looking for a light-hearted comedy without any pretension, then you should give this one a try.

Jimmy Dworski (James Belushi) is serving the last 48 hours of his prison sentence. He wins tickets to an all-important baseball game and, with the help of some cellmates, manages to escape. When he finds a businessman's filofax, he takes over his life with all the consequences that entails...

Feel good movie with predictable complications but also some quite successful jokes. Belushi feels like a fish in water in this reasonable comedy.

Good film in which an escaped convict finds the agenda of a successful businessman. The much-used mistaken identity set-up is amusingly elaborated here and the film never fails. The characters are perhaps a bit predictable but nicely portrayed by James Belushi and Charles Grodin. Also the film debut of JJ Abrams (later known as a director, but here as a writer). A narrow 3.5 stars.
