Rosencrantz and Guildenstern work at the court of Denmark and are friends with Prince Hamlet. They have their own philosophy, which is very verbal. One day they are called to the king, because he believes that his cousin Hamlet has gone mad. They would like to help the king with this, but have to pay for it with death.
