"Killing for two."
A pregnant woman is out for revenge. At first it is unclear why. She kills - apparently randomly - different individuals, each with their own life course. Her pregnancy is her lure. In the course of the film, her motivation gradually becomes clear. We see the reason for all the murders.

Nice.
The link to Sightseers was there fairly quickly, even before I could consciously make the link with Alice Lowe. Those two movies are really in the same corner. A strong dash of black humor with some comedy and indie elements.
Nice that Lowe also wrote, directed and was pregnant himself. That really makes this her movie. Something that you gradually notice. Her role was performed too perfectly, something that was clearly not just a coincidence.
This humor suits me perfectly. A little sharp, a little dark, but also a little childish and naughty. The horror elements are a lot less extreme and that indie finish wasn't really necessary for me, but they don't immediately bring the film down. Unfortunately, they don't really lift the film up either, so it actually remains a pretty fun comedy.
Lowe himself is fantastic, the film is always funny and with 90 minutes it's all over in no time. Very cool film, recommended for people who like slightly darker (British) humor.

Spurred on by her unborn baby, a heavily pregnant woman [Alice Lowe] commits a series of bloody murders. The baby's squeaky voice is enough to kill this attempt at a black comedy, but Lowe herself lends a hand with her mediocre directing and some of the worst puns you'll ever hear. The lack of motivation makes you indifferent to the succession of executions by a self-centered, unsympathetic person, and the attempts to understand or sympathize with her end in complete failure.
