As the daughter of an underground hip-hop legend who died just before he grew up, Bri has a lot to offer. But it's hard when she's labeled a brawler at school and ends up in a financial crisis after her mom loses her job. So Bri pours her anger and frustration into her first song, which goes viral for all the wrong reasons. Bri soon finds herself at the center of a controversy, portrayed by the media, but with an eviction notice hanging over her family, Bri doesn't just want to make it, she has to. Even if it means she becomes what the public makes her out to be.
