After a few years, the French will have thought that a film could poke fun at World War II.

"La Grande Vadrouille" was a wonderful example and this "On a retrouvé..." is also a comedy that has many pleasant moments, without anyone being able to disturb them.

Jean Lefèbvre (in my opinion an irresistible comedian), Pierre Mondy and Henri Guybet are the jokers on duty in a film that does not reach the level of "La Grande Vadrouille" but can still pass as a very successful funny.

Second part of the trilogy by Robert Lamoureux. I already enjoyed the first part and to my surprise I like this sequel even better. Again very nice tongue in cheek humor with ao a stubborn bridge saboteur and a hilarious (attempted) escape from the castle. The actors are a bit old to realistically play soldiers in WWII, but in a comedy something like that doesn't bother. These are movies I can definitely rewatch, have a pleasing tone.
