When young Leo Harrigan accidentally bumps into a film producer, he is immediately invited to write for him. The start of a sensational career. Soon Leo is promoted to director and films one 'silent' movie after another with a small group of actors. But the competition is fierce, as another filmmaker, Buck Greenway, tries to sabotage Leo's film.
