A divorced young lady decides to join the army because she hopes to see her new boyfriend, a colonel, more often. The necessary problems soon arise if she cannot adapt to the usual military lifestyle. In addition, her ex-husband works as an expert for the military and he uses his position to place her with a group of WACs that must test new equipment. In this way he hopes to thwart her love plans.
