I am very impressed that there are actually people who do this

give the movie 2 more stars or higher. Everyone has their own opinion of course.

But, I like movies with a lot of romance myself and the rest doesn't matter to me

so much out. But with this movie! Even the romance didn't splash, I liked it personally

horribly bad acting by Drew Barrymore. Maybe because I'm used to her differently.

The movie was pretty boring. I dropped it after an hour because it wasn't fun that way.

It was very unrealistic. A teacher likes a student, it turns out that he is not a student. And then

Suddenly it turns out that they already liked each other? What I totally missed! Or just haven't seen it!

I thought that was bad and should have been shown better. I don't recommend it.

So everyone has their own opinion!

“Wow, that was just like "Carrie"! I thought she was gonna kill us all.”

A somewhat corny looking teen comedy. 25-year-old actors are always made fun of as teenagers in these kinds of movies, so Never Been Kissed is making a whole movie about this. A bit like the Jump Street movies, but without the humor and with a good dose of sentiment and romance. Because of course Josie is walking around with quite a few teenage issues that come to the surface again. On the plus side, Josie is played by Drew Barrymore, and the sympathetic actress still manages to make a lot of it.

Cliché collection.

The obviously way too old Barrymore on repeat as a giggling high school teenage girl. Not credible anywhere, but that doesn't really matter - that's not really part of the genre either. Whether the intention was to stick to the clichés or whether an attempt was made to make a parody with it, I can't quite figure it out. But the setup doesn't work very well, it never gets really fun or exciting - there are plenty of better films in this genre.

And I remembered that from last time. Then why watch? because I vaguely remembered that this was the movie where Sobieski suddenly turns out to be wearing her tight blue catsuit. That scene was in my memory a bit more beautiful than in real life, perhaps I should not have watched it.
