Men at Work plot
"Two garbagemen who know when something smells funny!"
They may still be garbage collectors, but soon they will open a surf shop. However, their work takes on a bad odor when they find a senator who was dumped in an oil drum by the mafia because he wanted to prevent illegal discharges. The find is especially inconvenient, as their boss's very abusive brother-in-law comes along to check on them.

Men at Work is a film by and with Emilio Estevez. Instead of creative thoughts about changing your name, son dear has thrown himself into directing really nice films. Dad can be proud. This is a real nineties classic for me.

Reasonable film in which two garbage men find a dead body in the garbage during a shift. A simple story with clichéd characters. Of course this can't really be called good, but it is still easy to watch. The interaction between brothers Emilio Estevez and Charlie Sheen is quite entertaining. A small 3.0 stars.

Released in 1990, but clearly still a product of the 1980s. Nothing wrong with that, because buddy movies were in fashion back then. In Men at Work, there is hardly anything about anything. The story is kept as standard and accessible as possible. Not that it produces many hilarious scenes, on the contrary, but it never gets boring either. At times it is all entertaining enough and before you know it the running time is over, so it is not that the story has the chance to deviate too much or become boring. Thank goodness.
