Max plot

Max is a hard woman who wants to forget the past and make up for her quarrel with her father. The argument arose after Max had to go to jail for a robbery at one of her father's own supermarkets. When she is released, she is stunned that a man her own age has taken over her role in the family. She decides to investigate. She soon finds out that her new "brother" comes from a company called Rent-a-Family. She decides to confront her father about this, but unforeseen events throw a spanner in the works and suddenly she is involved in a murder.
