"From Fortune 500 ... to fortune's fool."

Goddard Bolt is a billionaire and real estate mogul. His latest project is to be the construction of a complex in the suburbs of Los Angeles that bears his name, namely Bolt City. To do this, one of the poorest slums has to be demolished. His perennial rival, Vance, is jealous and claims that Bolt wouldn't last a month in the neighborhood he wants to buy. Goddard accepts the challenge and wants to live as a clochard in the poor neighborhood for one month. That, however, disappoints him. Fortunately, the bum Molly takes him in tow...

Unfortunately, this Brooks is not strong enough to make us laugh enough. The story is nice and somewhat entertaining, but Brooks cannot carry the entire film. The jokes are often mediocre. Average.

The film contains some really nice scenes and the film is otherwise easy to watch. Nice to watch every now and then.

Mediocre film about a super rich businessman who makes a bet to live in poverty for a month. In itself a good starting point for a comedy. However, it is rather predictable and only funny in parts. The pace could also have been a bit higher.
