It Shouldn't Happen to a Dog plot
Journalist Henry Barton (Allyn Joslyn) has just been discharged from the military. Soon he hopes to pick up his old work again. Much to his chagrin, however, he becomes a science editor, while his previous job as a crime reporter is reassigned to Bess (Jean Wallace). Against his orders, Henry investigates when a Brooklyn cafeteria is raided by the beautiful Julia Andrews (Carole Landis) and her well-trained dog.
