De Idylle plot
"Embrace your suffering."
Victor finally comes out of the closet, but realizes that he is now considered too old for the dating market. His sister, opera diva Annika, imagines what a different life she could have had after she receives a terminal diagnosis. In the meantime, their grandmother Joke is unable to die, and ten-year-old Timo checks off his bucket list. They are all looking for the same impossible goal: the perfect fulfillment of life.

Joke [Beppie Melissen] wants to die, Annika [Hadewych Minis] is dying, 10-year-old Timo [Isacco Limper] thinks he's going to die and teacher Musa [Nabil Mallat] has had enough of life. Finally, there's 40-year-old Victor [Eelco Smits] who just came out of the closet and starts his search for the man of his dreams. Failed mosaic film bizarrely mistaken for funny, has inconsistent acting (especially Smits and Limper are exposed) and goes so far off the track that it ultimately completely negates two storylines!
