Charlie Sawyer is a data analyst at a toy retail chain. She discovers that there is only one way to keep their physical locations open: by imitating the company's best-performing location. She is then dispatched by headquarters to meet the likeable but stubborn store manager Grant Levinson. His secret to success will challenge Charlie to open her mind. And her heart.

Due to continued losses at Big Teddy Toy Company branches, the board is considering closing all stores and switching completely to online sales. Data analyst Charlie [Vanessa Lengies] sees that a branch in Jersey City is the only one doing very well and convinces her boss [Jane Moffat] to postpone a final decision. Charlie is instructed to visit the branch and within two weeks to come up with a strategy with which the other branches can become profitable again. In a Hallmark it is almost self-evident that branch manager Grant [Jesse Hutch] is an attractive, sweet man and you immediately know how this will end. But Lengies and Hutch have a pleasant chemistry and screenwriters Courtney McAllister and Kate Pragnell manage to avoid the clichés for a long time.
