Ethel 'Dynamite' Jackson is a chorister. She accidentally receives an invitation to represent the American theater during an art exhibition in Paris. However, the invitation was for Ethel Barrymore. Responsible for this error is the bureaucrat Winthrop Putnam. So he anxiously tries to correct his mistake. But it's too late. Ethel has already left for Paris and there is no other option but to follow her.
